It’s been a while since I’ve posted something, time for some catchup.
So while browsing the web I came across pictures of a b25 Airplane pulled out of the water after all these years.
Recently, there has been some big hype going on in the small county of Lexington. Lake Murray is home to the island called “Bomb Island” where the air force used to do test bombing runs and assorted other activities, leaving many pieces of history to be found.. Like this B25(EDIT: thanks for the clear up) bomber. A private collector organized this retrieval of the plane and plans on preserving it at a state university or something like that.
It’s nice to see a gift like this to help connect people where it counts. Google delivers videos of soldiers with messages to thier mothers.
How cool. We should of already been there with the technology, but I guess better late than never.

I get questions from people that ask, “What is podcasting?”.
So here’s my best explanation.
Podcasting is a show you can take with you on your MP3 player.
Who makes podcasts? Lots of people, not necessarily in showbiz.. Kind of like reality TV, but uncensored. Some are about certain topics, they also have something called Vidcasting, where people share their home videos with you.
But what makes this all different from normal video/audio posted on the internet is this; You can subscribe to it!
It’s like watching a weekly show on a certain channel, you know what channel it’s on, and you’ve got lots of free tools online to actually SUBSCRIBE to them, much like blogs and news aggregators.
So in the end, you get to listen to, or watch what you like, when you want, on your mp3 player/Computer/on thier site.

You can finally catch that episode of Lost you missed last night, or that episode of Desperate House Wives you forgot to set the tivo for, and you can catch it all on ABC’s website. ABC has come around and finally decided to supply a free stream to watch your favorite ABC shows that has already aired on TV.
With the way Media is going, I can see things will be VERY different this time next year. It will be interesting watching it develop into something we may, or may not like.
