Dog the Bounty hunter no longer wanted!
Posted by Pete on August 4th, 2007I read recently that they finally let “Dog” Chapman off the hook and he’s no longer wanted in Mexico. Good news for Dog, he didn’t deserve that, hope he makes sure it’s legal next time he’s “out of town”.
A judge has canceled an order for the arrest of Chapman, who for more than three years has faced the possibility of extradition to serve a jail sentence in Mexico, attorney Eduardo Amerena told Reuters.
“Chapman can now be in Mexico without any problem,” Amerena said.
Semi Truck hits man in wheelchair and takes him for a ride!

A man in a wheelchair starts to cross the street, in the meantime a semi-truck leaves a gas station and embeds this poor guy’s chair into his grill and pushes him down the road about 50 miles before police stop the truck driver from going any further. Nobody gets hurt! 50 MILES!!
Of course the truck driver didn’t know he had a guy stuck as his new hood ornament. Carpenter (the man in the wheelchair) was pushed in his seat the whole time and by some kind of miracle completely unharmed.
“I was happy. Thank God it was over,” Carpenter said. “I thought it was kind of like a fair ride. I don’t remember feeling any bumps though. I must have, but the road must have been pretty smooth.”

4 year old was injured at Colorado football practice after a tackle!
Posted by Pete on April 25th, 2007This could of really hurt! A Colorado football player wasn’t expecting this future defensive player to be in the way was he came in for a touchdown. Carefully looking at this video you see the player make that last second move to shift his helmet out of the way of this poor kid’s head.
The child had no serious injuries as a result of this knock down, although he did get some stitches which is serious enough for this toddler. I haven’t seen any comments regarding the player’s fast thinking movement, so kudos goes out to the player, this could of turned very badly without his instant reaction timing.

Froogle is now Google Product Search
Posted by Pete on April 19th, 2007Froogle.com is no more, as of today Google has renamed it to Google Product Search. This should streamline Google into a mean shopping search machine.
Today, we’re making some changes to how we help users find things to buy. You may be familiar with our product Froogle (a pun on “frugal”). Froogle offers a lot of great functionality and has helped many users find things to buy over the years, but the name caused confusion for some because it doesn’t clearly describe what the product does.
Crocodile with arm in mouth - Yummy!
Posted by Pete on April 17th, 2007A few days ago I read about a Veterinarian Chang Po-yu who was reaching through iron bars to remove tranquilizer darts from a huge (400 lbs) crocodile, which was not exactly snoozing, when the crocodile bit down and took the guy’s arm off.
I think this will make anyone who currently treats these dangerous beasts think twice before sticking thier arm anywhere.
From the pics shown, it looked like the croc got the better half below his elbow. Pretty gruesome, you are warned!
